Review: The Craft Attack Resin

I recently dove into some new resin from The Craft Attack, and honestly? The whole experience felt like getting a golden ticket to a sparkle-filled candy factory. First off, I got to email with the owner before ordering, and she was a gem—super helpful, answered all my questions, and gave recommendations to make sure I ended up with exactly what I needed. Already, I knew this was going to be a fun ride.

This resin has a 2:1 ratio, which at first made me squint like, “Wait…what now?” because I've only used 1:1 up to this point. But adapting to it was surprisingly easy. Most resins promise crystal clear, bubble-free, easy-to-work-with magic. Usually, you get something vaguely the same as the others that’s supposed to be magical—but this one? This one actually delivered. Plus, they put these positive little stickers on the bottles!

It’s low viscosity, and that’s basically a blessing for anyone who has ever fought a thick, stubborn resin blob. Here’s why:
1. Pouring it is simple, no secret hand rituals required.
2. Mixing is way easier—no wrestling thick and thin parts into submission.
3. It doesn’t take a whole song to stir (yes, I literally time it this way).
4. It pours like water, which is a life-saver when you’re trying to avoid trapping bubbles around your fillers.
5. Messes? When you inevitably make one, it’s easier to scoop back into your cup instead of chasing a sticky sludge monster.
6. More comes out of the cup naturally, which saves you from performing some last-minute, desperate scraping ballet.

Because it’s easier to pour and mix, you’re not creating as many bubbles—and let’s be honest, bubbles are basically the arch-nemesis of every resin artist.
Now, I have to admit something: I’m kind of savage with my resin. But even with my chaotic approach, this still came out virtually bubble-free, crystal clear, and as hard as diamonds.
I also played around with their UV resin. No major difference in viscosity from other UV resins I’ve tried, but it’s nice and clear, cures lightning-fast in sunlight, and supposedly resists yellowing. All very handy when you’re impatiently waving your hands over your projects like a caffeinated wizard.

I’ve made several projects with both the regular and UV resin so far, and honestly, I’ve loved every single one. Overall, this resin is a joy to work with, and as someone who has tried a ridiculous number of brands, I can happily say: I’d definitely recommend it.
