Beyond the Shop: Where We Show Up

There is something grounding about having a home base. Our shop in downtown Eustis gives us a place to build, create, and connect on a daily rhythm. But creativity does not stay still, and neither do we.
We love meeting people where creativity is already happening across Lake County and beyond. Some of our favorite moments happen outside our walls, in festivals, markets, and shared spaces where everything feels a little more alive.
This is where we show up.
First Friday in Eustis

One of the most consistent places you will find us is at First Friday Eustis.
First Friday is one of those anchor downtown events where the whole area feels connected in a different way. Local makers, musicians, artists, food vendors, and neighbors all gathering on the first Friday of each month, with no real agenda other than to see what is happening around town.
For us, it is a chance to step outside the shop and meet people in a different rhythm. Not “store hours” energy, but conversation energy. We get to show new work, talk through custom ideas, and see what people naturally gravitate toward when they are just wandering.
It also keeps us grounded. A shop can become its own little ecosystem. First Friday pulls us right back into the wider community in a really healthy way.
Immersive Fantasy Events with Alluxia Events
We also step into fully immersive fantasy environments with Alluxia Events.
These are not typical markets or vendor fairs. They are fully built fantasy weekends designed as living worlds, where guests step into a story rather than just attending an event. The experience can include themed quests, classes, warrior training, Dungeons & Dragons inspired gameplay, curated fantasy dining, brunches, and formal fantasy balls. Every layer is designed to pull people into a shared atmosphere for the weekend.
Our next event with them is Enchanted: Live the Fantasy, happening July 23–26, 2026 at The Omni ChampionsGate in Florida at 1500 Masters Blvd, ChampionsGate, FL 33896
You can explore it here: Enchanted: Live the Fantasy
We attend these events as vendors and participants inside the world they build. That distinction matters. We are not just setting up a booth in a room. We are stepping into a fully immersive environment where everyone present is part of the same living story for the weekend.
That changes everything about how it feels. Conversations are slower. Interactions are more intentional. Even simple exchanges feel like they belong to something larger than the transaction itself.
And then there is the after-effect, which is honestly one of the best parts. You come back with ideas that were shaped by the environment itself.
Events with Wizards & Lizards Studio
We also participate in multiple immersive fantasy events throughout the year with Wizards & Lizards Studio. Our next one is an indoor Ren Faire! Dates: August 29–30, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: 1700 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
These events share a similar spirit of full immersion, where fantasy is not a theme layered on top of reality, but the environment you are stepping into. Guests move through curated experiences that blend storytelling, interactive activities, themed spaces, and community-driven roleplay elements. It is part convention, part performance, part shared world-building.
Our involvement with these events is ongoing across the year, and each one takes on its own personality depending on the setting and theme. What stays consistent is the level of imagination in the room and the way people fully commit to being part of the experience.
These are the kinds of spaces where our work naturally fits. Bookish, mystical, handcrafted pieces tend to come alive a little differently when they are surrounded by people actively choosing to step into a fantasy world for a weekend.
And yes, it is also just fun in a way that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
Meeting People Out in the Wild

We are not just building a destination shop experience. We are building a presence.
Sometimes that presence is in our shop on N Grove Street. Sometimes it is downtown at an evening event. Sometimes it is inside fully immersive fantasy worlds where the line between audience and participant gets a little blurry.
We like meeting people out in the wild.
Because that is where you see what actually connects.
Those moments shape what we bring back into the shop. They influence what we create next. They remind us that community is not one location. It is a network of places where people keep choosing to show up.
And we plan to keep showing up with them.
