A Hands-On Animal Science Adventure | Ages 13-17
Go beyond the fun facts and take a closer look at the science, behavior, and biology of a real animal ambassador! Happy Hippie Customs is proud to partner with Hunt’s Exotics Foundation to provide a hands-on animal science enrichment experience designed for teens.
Each monthly session focuses on one featured animal for four weeks, giving students time to explore that species in greater depth rather than simply encountering a different animal each week.
Throughout the four-week session, students will investigate the animal’s natural history, habitat, diet, adaptations, behavior, enrichment needs, and ecological role. Lessons and hands-on experiences encourage students to observe carefully, ask questions, make connections, and think critically about how an animal’s physical and behavioral characteristics help it survive in its environment.
